A black and white Real Photo postcard c.1930 by local photographer and publisher, Frank Packer, shows a fairly quiet High Street in the Oxfordshire market town of Burford with a couple of early motors the only sign of activity. The Bull Hotel is in the left foreground, the white building next to it being the Printing Office of Mr. Packer.
