This black and white Real Photo postcard is by Fletcher & Sons of Long Sutton and shows a large body of men outside the Gote Inn in the small Lincolnshire hamlet of Tydd Gote, which is close to the River Nene where it forms the county boundary with Norfolk. The caption reads The Draw, Daily Mirror Cup, and we surmise that the draw is to decide the positions (pegs) for an angling competition on the nearby river.
The card is postally used 6 SEP 1910 with a Thimble cancel of Tydd.
